Most people in the Business Central ecosystem are either purely business-focused consultants or technical developers. Historically, my role was bridging the gap between client requirements and development teams. Today, thanks to modern AI, I can often close that loop entirely on my own—taking complex business challenges directly into working production code.
Having total control over both business logic and implementation gives me a unique perspective on system architecture. I don’t blindly execute every client request just because it's technically possible. If a requirement is flawed or leads to unnecessary complexity, I will challenge it and advocate for a clean solution that guarantees long-term maintainability.
Over the last two decades, I’ve navigated every major evolution of Microsoft Dynamics—from Navision and the Classic Client to Business Central, cloud architecture, and now AI.
Adopting AI for extension development has been a genuine game-changer for me. While I could always read BC code, I did not program. So bringing specifications to life used to require a dedicated developer. Today, I use AI to write production-ready code or automate testing scenarios I previously handled manually. Frankly, I love this new way of working—it allows me to deliver complete solutions from concept to code, with more flexibility and speed.
